Beginning in Kitchener at 8:45 am, the pride of Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest – the Thanksgiving Day parade.

It has often been said that everyone loves a parade and those in attendance at our annual Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade are no exception. Thousands of people line the parade route each year to see the floats, bands and special entries that are part of this annual event. Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest features one of the most spectacular Thanksgiving Day Parades in Canada. Join more than 150,000 Fest-goers as they line Weber Street on Thanksgiving morning, eagerly awaiting the colourful floats, clowns and award winning marching bands from Canada and the United States. The parade begins in Kitchener at 8:45 am.

Tune into our media partners, CTV, 105.3 KOOL FM/KFUN 99.5 FM, 96.7 CHYM FM/570 News/Country 106.7 and CKWR FM98.5 for details. The Parade route, lined with an enthusiastic audience covers 5 km from King & Cedar Streets in Kitchener to Weber Street & Bridgeport Road in Waterloo. If you can’t join us in person, the CTV network broadcasts the Parade nationwide. Check your TV listings for the airing time in your location.
